What motivated you to become a personal trainer?
TL: I was motivated to become a Personal Trainer because I wanted a career where I could help as many people as possible achieve their health and fitness goals.
In your opinion, what is the key to living a healthy lifestyle?
TL: A key to living a healthy lifestyle is balance. You need regular exercise, but you also need your ‘down time’.
What effect does keeping fit and a healthy lifestyle have on your personal life?
TL: Keeping fit and exercising has a positive effect on my personal life. When I’m exercising, I look better which in turn makes me feel better and I have a better relationship with the people around me.
What advice do you have for people looking to make a positive change to their life and become healthier?
TL: My advice to people looking to make a change to their life is DO IT. Do it now before it’s too late. When you don’t want to take the stairs and would rather take the lift, someday you may not have that choice.
What are your favourite methods for losing body fat?
TL: My favourite method for losing body fat is variety. Our bodies are designed to adapt very quickly. If you do the same thing week in and week out, your body will get used to this very quickly and not show the same results you noticed in the onset. Keep your body guessing!
