Valentus produces a range of health and wellness products. Valentus products are made with natural ingredients that provide you with antioxidants and stimulants, which have been found to help promote weight management, increase energy levels and improve digestive health.

However, it appears that Valentus have teamed up with Dr Joe Ahrends who is a renowned and experienced expert in research and product development.

What Are Valentus Ingredients?
The company prides itself on using only natural ingredients. Some of them are ginseng, maca root, green coffee extract, guarana seed, dandelion root, and L-carnitine fumarate, among many others.
All of the ingredients are rich in antioxidants and have numerous properties that are beneficial to human health.
Different ingredients bring different kinds of nutrients to the body.
For example, maca root is used to improve brain health, cognitive function, and bone strength, but also to increase libido and lessen the effects of sexual dysfunction.

Garcinia cambogia
A pumpkin-shaped fruit, also called Malabar Tamarind, which grows in Southeast Asia, India and Africa, according to the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health.
Natural caffeine
A stimulant and mild diuretic taken from plant sources such as coffee beans, kola nuts, guarana, cocoa beans, yerba mate, and tea leaves. It has a bitter taste and is found in various beverages, foods, and supplements for energy and weight loss.
Phaseolamin extract
An extract of kidney beans that functions as an a-Amylase inhibitor, which helps block the body’s digestion of carbohydrates.
Green tea extract
Also called camellia sinensis, this plant contains both caffeine and catechins (EGCG), which have been shown to promote health and aid with weight loss and other numeral health benefits.
Chromium

Dandelion root

Is Valentus Safe?
All the ingredients used for making the products are natural and no major side effects have been recorded.
Some users experience some minor side-effects which are probably related to the high number of stimulants contained in the supplements.
Valentus teamed up with Dr Joe Ahrends who seems to be an expert in health research and product development. This gives Valentus more credibility and confidence in the safety of their products.
However there does not appear to be much information on how the products are made which casts some doubt in their efficacy in controlling weight. There is a lack of information on the Valentus website about the manufacturing standards and the quantities of the ingredients.
What Are the Side Effects?

Side effects appear to be similar drinking too much coffee, so Valentus products which will have high amounts of stimulants are more likely to have these side effects.
Any Controversy with Valentus?
Firstly, Valentus SlimROAST is illegal in the UK because UK law does not permit the sale of weight loss products with ingredients that are unproven to promote weight loss.
As there are no clinical studies or evidence to suggest they are proven, the product is banned in the UK.
Secondly, Valentus contained Phenylethylamine (PEA) which is widely acceptable in most countries around the world in food supplements although it is considered to be a banned substance under World Doping Agency rules.
However, it appears to be a banned substance in New Zealand and is classified as a Class C drug, like Cannabis, according to 1 News. This is a serious issue if you are looking to join the Valentus multi-level marketing program or compete in competitive sport.
As for the safety aspect, while it is legal in many countries it is clear there could be potential side effects.
Thirdly, according to BehindMLM, Advanced Laboratories International LLC filed a $3.18 million lawsuit against Valentus in March of 2016 regarding a coffee shipment. From what we gathered, this has nothing to do with Valentus product safety or the FDA.
It was merely a disagreement concerning a supplier contract agreement.
One interesting fact from this lawsuit is the revelation that Valentus only pays $6 per box of coffee (remember that they sell them for $60).
Lastly, the FDA sent a warning letter to the company for claiming their products are to cure and treat diseases. They were advised to correct the issue within 15 days and contact the FDA with the steps taken to correct the claims. A quick review of the site shows that they have complied.
Customer Reviews of Valentus
Reviews for Valentus products are mixed. Some users claim to have lost weight and feel more energized within the first week.
Overall, the Valentus customer reviews are mostly positive with customers praising the taste of the products and noticing improvements in energy levels and alertness.

We took a close look at the official website, and it doesn’t look like you can order Valentus Slim Roast Optimum Coffee, Prevail Max, or other Prevail products from the website.
When you click the “order” button, the site takes you to a referring member page that asks for a username or the individual who referred you. This way, the person that turned you on to these products can get credit for the purchase.
On the other hand, you can find Valentus on Amazon. Other dealers include Walmart, Bonanza.com, eBay, and other online distributors by searching for specific Valentus products.
Valentus Return Policy
They offer a 90-Day return period on the initial order and a 30-Day return period on subsequent orders. Any order refund for an Independent Representative (IR) (and/or his or her Preferred Customer (PC) who ordered directly from the Company) is subject to a 10% restocking fee on the products returned. Shipping costs for returned products are at the IR/PC’s own expense and must be received unopened, sealed, and in a non-damaged condition.
Valentus MultiLevel Marketing
Valentus is designed as a MLM company or network marketing.
So, although it develops health products, it’s business model is designed in a way that allows other people to partner with the company to work as direct sales reps.
Valentus has a commission structure allows people to earn an unlimited amount of money, depending on their efforts and customer reach.
Some people who are against network marketing have called Valentus a pyramid scheme.
This is where people recruit other people into the company with the promise of payments for enrolling others onto the scheme.
Pyramid schemes are actually illegal, so this is quite a bold claim to make towards Valentus.
It’s not possible for Valentus to be a pyramid scheme because Valentus sells actual products. Many companies work with this business model, the most well-known being Herbalife and Avon.
This is a legitimate business model which gives independent sales reps an opportunity of making money, building a business.
The focus should really be on whether Valentus products are safe and effective.

It will be extremely hard to make good money from Valentus.
There is a monthly “sales quota” to stay active, which means that if you can’t sell around $100 of products every month you will need to purchase the products yourself to “remain active”.

However, this is not a definite sign of whether or not an opportunity is a scam or a legitimate one in my opinion.

So, is Valentus a scam?
Technically, NO.
They offer legitimate products and pay their IRs as claimed.
However, many say that it is a scam after joining and finding out about all the hidden fees, and how difficult it is to recruit into the pyramid scheme in disguise.
That’s why you may see some people online saying that it is a scam.
Our Verdict on Valentus
We can see that the products contain some ingredients that contain antioxidants and can stimulate the metabolism to assist with weight loss.
However, as previously mentioned some users have experienced negative side effects from using Valentus coffee.
You should therefore be aware of this, always check the correct dosage and consult a medical professional if you are unsure, you should take the product.
We are confident that Valentus is not a scam or a pyramid scheme because they sell real products and have clearly been successful, making millions of dollars in product sales.
While they have had a medical expert team up to help create the products, there does seem to be a lack of customer information on the products.
We would like to see more information on the manufacturing process and quality standards.
